Alice Miyoko Kurata, 86, of Honolulu, a retired registered nurse for Kaiser Medical Center, died in Straub Clinic & Hospital. She was born in Wahiawa. She is survived by husband Andrew; son Jon; daughters Noreen Mumaw and Yvonne Lau; brothers Ernest and Floyd Shiraishi; sisters Edith Tamanaha, Irene Sano andFlora Ferreira; and two grandchildren.
