Jack E. Harris, 66, of Volcano, Hawaii, a field assistant at the Hawaiian Volcano Observatory, R.M. Towill Corp. surveyor, archaeological fieldworker for Rosendahl Inc. and veteran of the Navy and Navy Reserve, died in Hilo Medical Center. He was born in Portland, Ore. He is survived by wife Bronwyn Daniels, mother Lillian and brother Joel. Services held. Donations suggested to the Hawaii Island Humane Society.
