Arthur A. Hoke III, 54, of Hilo, a coach for the Kamehameha Canoe Club and Pop Warner football and an Army veteran, died at Hospice of Hilo Pohai Malama Facility. He was born in Hilo. He is survived by wife Julia; sons Arthur A., Aaron and Alan; daughters Sara Hoke-Welle, Kahula Ngyuen and LeeAnn, Pumehana, Angeline and 'Anelakia'iokeaomaluhiamaikalanikuaka'amai Hoke; father Arthur A. Jr.; brother Michael; sisters Wanda Pua-Kaipo, Shelby Oswell and Kris Hoke; and nine grandchildren. Visitation: 4 p.m. Friday at Dodo Mortuary Chapel. Celebration of life: 5 p.m. Scattering of ashes: 9 a.m. Saturday at Kamehameha Canoe Club Hale, Hilo. Casual attire. No flowers.
