David Phillip Jardine, 73, of Hilo, a chef and a Navy veteran, died in Yukio Okutsu State Veterans Home in Hilo. He was born in Lakewood, N.J. He is survived by son David, two grandchildren, two stepgrandchildren and two great-grandchildren. No services.
