Albert Nobel “Al†Snook, 88, of Hilo, owner and contractor of Snook Home Repair and an Army veteran who served in the European Theater during World War II, died in Yukio Okutsu State Veterans Home. He was born in Tahlequah, Okla. He is survived by companion Joanne Ellison, sons Larry and Jerel, stepdaughter Kathleen Ellison, brother Marvin and 58 grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. Visitation: 5 p.m. Monday at Dodo Mortuary, Hilo. Additional services in California. Casual attire.
