John Lake Tinsman III, also known as “Johnny Cabâ€â€ˆand “Mettler,†40, of Hilo, a chef, appliance technician and former member of the Hawaii Army National Guard, died at Hilo Pohai Malama Care Center. He was born in Denver. He is survived by daughter Maria, mother Marilyn Yamamoto, hanai brother Bill Stockmaster Jr. and sisters Julie Tinsman and Jenny and Jamie YamaÂmoto. No services.
