Richard Chew Hoong Kuulei Au Sr., 88, of Aiea, a retired warehouse foreman at Schofield Barracks Commissary and an Army veteran who served in World War II, died. He was born in Honolulu. He is survived by son Richard C.H. Jr.; stepsons Isaac, Haupu and Albert Hue Jr.; stepdaughters Charslene Kanoa, Rose P. Chang and Gwendolyn Mosca; brother Timmy; 21 grandchildren; and 35 great-grandchildren. Visitation: 2:30 p.m. Sunday at Nuuanu Memorial Park & Mortuary. Services: 3:30 p.m. Burial: 11 a.m. Monday at Hawaiian Memorial Park. Aloha attire.
