75Joni Lei Gates, 58, of Honolulu, a state Department of Human Services head secretary and state Marimed youth counselor, died in the Queen's Medical Center. She was born in Honolulu. She is survived by sons Jeremy Correa and Kalani Gates; daughters Cristy Urbano and Pakalana Matsushige; mother Deedee Jeremiah; brothers Rocky and Bozo; sisters Ilima, Noe and Moana; former husbands Ricky Correa and Robert Gates; and four grandchildren.
