FAMILY PLACED OBITUARY

FUMIE ASATO
FUMIE ASATO 94, a long time resident of Hawaii Kai, died peacefully at home on May 4, 2015. Born on March 3, 1921 in Waipahu, she was a retired drapery seamstress. She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Tokuichi, daughter, Jean K. Kawakami, and son in law, Stanley S. Sadamitsu. She is survived by son, Charles T., daughters, Elsie A. Otani (Jon), Ethel T. Sadamitsu, Susan T. Higashide, Judy O. Nakano (Edward), son in law, Robert J. Kawakami, brother, Larry S. Oshiro (Evelyn), 17 grand- children, 27 great grand- children, 4 great great grand- children. Grandma aka: Oba, always loved being around her family and friends and enjoyed listening to Okinawan and Japanese music. A service will be held at 6:00 pm, visitation at 5:00 pm on Friday, May 22, 2015 at Hosoi Garden Mortuary.
