Takeshi "Saskit" Sakata, 89, of Hilo, a Hilo Coast Processing Co. retiree, died in Hilo Medical Center. He was born in Hakalau, Hawaii. He is survived by daughters Charlene Shinohara, Rachel Ancheta, Laureen Masukawa and Adrienne Sugimoto; sons Brian, Mark and Ian; 10 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Private services.
