RAYMOND MERRILL DEHAY
RAYMOND MERRILL DEHAY Raymond Merrill deHay, 93, of Kailua, Hawaii, died peacefully in his sleep on April 18, 2015. He lived in Hawaii since age 6 and graduated from Iolani School. He was a physician in Kailua for over 50 years and has donated his body to UH's John A. Burns School of Medicine to assist medical students in their learning. In addition to his work, he loved running, contract bridge, wine and stamp collecting. He is survived by children Charlotte (Donald) Clausen, Lawrence deHay, Roger (Kathy) deHay and Cynthia deHay and by stepchildren Robert (Marlene) Gertz and Patricia (Melvyn) Akiyama. He has four grandchildren and two great grandchildren. His memorial will be held at Emmanuel Episcopal Church in Kailua on Saturday, July 25, at 11 am. Casual or aloha attire. In lieu of flowers, a donation to IHS's Peanut Butter Ministry is welcomed.
