Bonifacio Viernes Jr., 58, of Honolulu, a maintenance assistant and an Army veteran, died in St. Francis Hospice. He was born in Honolulu. He is survived by son Blaise K., mother Yvonne R. Maio Viernes, sister Galdeen L., brother Berman K., hanai sister Prelldeen Hicks, hanai brother James Maio and three grandchildren. Visitation: 5:30 p.m. Friday at Borthwick Mortuary.
