Bonifacio Viernes Jr., 58, of Honolulu, a maintenance assistant and an Army veteran, died in St. Francis Hospice. He was born in Honolulu. He is survived by son Blaise K., mother Yvonne R. Maio Viernes, brother Berman K., sister Galdeen L., hanai brother James Maio, hanai sister Prelldeen Hicks and three grandchildren. Visitation: 5:30 p.m. Thursday at Borthwick Mortuary.
