RONALD TSUGIO SAKAI Age 94, of Honolulu, passed away on May 9, 2015. Born in Honolulu, he was a sheet metal specialist and co-owner of Kapalama Plumbing and Sheet Metal Shop. He is survived by his wife, Yukie Sakai; son, Leslie T. (Lori) Sakai; daughter, Eileen A. Sakai; granddaughters, Teresa and Melanie; brothers, Uichi, Yoshito and Harold Masaru Sakai. Mr. Sakai was a member of Company H, 442nd Regimental Combat Team. Visitation from 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday, June 2, 2015, at Hosoi Garden Mortuary; funeral service at 1:00 p.m. Inurnment will be held at 10:30 a.m. June 3, 2015, at the National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific. Casual attire.
