WILLIAM KAIPOLEHUA PUNOHU
WILLIAM KAIPOLEHUA PUNOHU William Kaipolehua Punohu passed away on March 7 in Anaconda, Montana. He was born in Honolulu on February 20, 1949, and lived most of his life on Oahu. He was a 1967 graduate of St. Louis High School, then worked for Western and Delta Airlines. He moved to Anaconda in 2007 and was of great help to his family. He was unique, very funny, and quite wise about the way the world works. He made many friends at the Happy Endings Casino and was given a wonderful party in his memory. Those who left before him were his parents, Kimo and Elsie Punohu, and his brothers Robert, Neil, and Alika. He is survived by his wife, Vonnie Punohu, son, Paiea, and daughter, Cassandra, and his brother, Raymond (Sue) Punohu. Also surviving are many nieces and nephews and a large extended family. Willy has touched the lives of people he never knew, through his generous gifts of sight and other much needed life-saving donations. Aloha, Willy!
Our deepest condolences to the family and friends of the deceased
