72Richard Isidro “Sav’e†Soares, 73, of Kailua-Kona, a drummer for the former Molokai Makas, Brothers-in-law and Captain Bean Cruises, died at Life Care Center of Kona. He was born in Kaunakakai. He is survived by son Richard; daughters Debra Kamohai, Sonia Kaaihue, Tracey Iseke and Dolores Soares; stepson Michael Malala; brothers Jacob, Peter and Patrick; 14 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren. Visitation: noon Saturday at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Kealakekua Ward. Services: 1 p.m. Casual attire. In lieu of flowers, donations suggested to the Richard I.
