87Richard James Francis Kaluna, 79, of Honolulu, a head custodian and a Marine Corps veteran, died at Straub Clinic & Hospital. He was born in Kohala, Hawaii. He is survived by wife Lydia; son Dwight Kato-Kaluna; stepdaughter Donna Estrada; stepson Alfred Aquino; brothers Stanley and Joe Kumukoa, and Lee and Eric Dela Cruz; sister Gail Pelekai; and three grandchildren.
