MASARU (MASA-PAPA) UEHARA Age 84, of Kaneohe, HI, passed away May 6, 2015 in Kaneohe. Born December 6, 1930 in Paia, Maui. Veteran of the United States Army. Retired from the Hawaii State Health System. Past President for the Itoman Shijin Kai Club. Survived by wife Peggy (Kuwashima); daughter Janice (Gary) Imamura; sons Bert (Iris), Steven (Teri), and Leslie (Jade); brother Dr. Sakai Uehara; sisters Jane Takayesu and Alice Gurtiza; 9 grandchildren; 3 great grand- children. Visitation 9 a.m. Saturday July 11 at Hawaii Memorial Cemetery in Kaneohe; Memorial Service 10 a.m. Inurnment to follow 1 p.m. at Valley of the Temple Cemetery in Kaneohe. Casual attire.
