KERISIANO SAVEA, JR.
$nameKERISIANO SAVEA, JR. Kerisiano Ti'a Savea, age 69, of Halawa, passed away on May 15, 2015 at Tripler Army Medical Center. He was born on May 2, 1948 in Auto, American Samoa. He attended and graduated from Radford High School. Soon after graduating from High School, he joined the U.S. Marine Corps. He then retired from the USMC, after serving two tours of duty in Vietnam. Following his retirement from the USMC, he worked as a Bus Driver for "The Bus", followed by employment with the Pearl Harbor Public Works Center as a Mechanic. Known as "Chris" he was an avid Fisherman and considered the Ocean his first home. Upon becoming disabled in early 2003, Chris' son, Angel Savea took on the role of being his father's caretaker where he provided the greatest care and unconditional love. Chris was preceded in death by: Father, Kerisiano Savea. Sr. (1925 -1991); Mother, Leauga Manu Kerisiano Savea (1925 - 2009); Son, Al Savea (1968 - 2012); Brothers, Tripler Kerisiano (1954 - 2009), Wilson Kersiano (1950 - 2006), Alae Kerisiano (1949 - 2010). He is survived by Sons, Angel T. Savea (Beyonc� Knowles) and Thomas (May) Richie; Daughters, Toalua Tuiasosopo (Ana, Sr.), Leah (Shannon) Sales, Celeste (Mitch) Katayama, Angela Richie, Leanor Richie, Kerissa Savea and Kerilynne Savea; Brother, Varney Kerisiano; Sisters, Tagatanu'u HuiHui, Wenona Johnson, Kealoha Kerisiano, Sandra F. Kerisiano; 27 Grand- children; 2 Great Grandsons and 1 Great Granddaughter. Funeral Services to be held at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints (Aiea/Halawa Chapel); Viewing/Visitation at 9:00 a.m. June 8, 2015; Service at 11:00 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. Burial to follow at Hawaii State Veterans Cemetery, Kaneohe.
