74George Mitsuru "Joe" Toyooka, 74, of Honolulu, a retired state maintenance department carpenter, died in Straub Clinic & Hospital. He was born in Honolulu. He is survived by wife Anita S., son Ryan, daughter Daena Tokunaga, stepsons Roy and Brad Shibata, brothers Morris and James, sisters Doris Johnson and Ethel Kaiura, and three grandchildren. Visitation: 5 p.m. Friday at Hosoi Garden Mortuary. Services: 6 p.m. Aloha attire. No flowers.
