GWEN SUMIE NAGUWA 64, born in Honolulu to Bert and Heather Naguwa. She passed peacefully on June 2, 2015. Wife of the late Dr. William Uphouse. She is survived by brothers Stanley, Warren, and Dean, and many nieces and nephews. Retired Professor of Medicine for the John A. Burns School of Medicine. Her passion for medicine will live on in her students. She will truly be missed. Services to celebrate her life June 10 at 6 pm, Hosoi Garden Mortuary; visitation 5pm. Casual attire, no flowers
