Edward John Lei Nobriga, 85, of Puhi, Kauai, a retired journeyman mechanic at Grove Farm and McBryde Sugar, and an Army veteran, died at home. He was born in Huleia, Kauai. He is survived by wife Josephine; sons Kenneth and Nathan G.; daughters Cheryl Fujimoto, Marian Robinson and Josette Nobriga; brother David Sr.; sister Helen Carreira; nine grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Visitation: 8:30 a.m. Friday at Immaculate Conception Church. Mass: 10 a.m. Inurnment at noon at Kauai Veterans Cemetery, Hanapepe.
