Born in Wailuku, she was a retired controller and accountant for Blue Bell/Sunshine Co. and Houston's in Portland, OR. Survived by sons, Scott (Michelle) Steele of Battleground, Ore., Joel "JJ" (Clarissa) Steele of Portland, Ore.; daughter, Tara (Bruce) Hegg of Scottsdale, AZ.; brother, Glen Fukunaga of Honolulu; sister, Judith (Lloyd) Akamine of Hilo; 3 grandsons. Visitation from 10:00 am, services at 11:00 am Monday, June 15, at Honpa Hongwanji. Casual attire, no flowers.
