81Leoncia Durat Briones, 79, of Makaweli, Kauai, a retired Novartis Seeds employee, died at home. She was born in Santa Maria Ilocos Sur, Philippines. She is survived by sons Mariano, Alex, Joseph, George and Jerry; daughter Edwina Cordero; brothers Alfredo and Demetrio; sisters Pacita Lazo, Gregorio Montero and Juanita Viloria; 16 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Visitation: 9 a.m. Wednesday at Holy Cross Catholic Church, Kalaheo, Kauai. Mass: 10 a.m. Inurnment in the Philippines.
