James Nelson Vinton, 82, of Mililani, a retired Army colonel, died. He was born in Clairton, Pa. He is survived by wife June; sons William, Thomas and David; sisters Ruth Walters and Linda Di Francesco; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Private services.
