JANE B. LIBBY 99, passed away in Honolulu on May 14, 2015. Jane was born in Buffalo, NY on May 17, 1915. Jane was a teacher and a graduate of Northwestern University. In addition to her world travels, she had active roles in several community organizations, especially with the Salvation Army Advisory Board, and its Women's Auxiliary and the Residential Facility for Child and Youth. She was also involved with the American Association of University Women; the Pan-Pacific Southeast Asia Women's Association; Ballet Hawaii; Honolulu Symphony Society and Women's Association; the Hawaii Opera Theatre; and Bishop Museum. She was predeceased by her husband Roland D. Libby, a former Army officer and journalist. She is survived by her daughter, Marcia S. Collins, and her son, Roland Libby, Jr., as well as 3 grandsons and 3 great-grandchildren. Private services were held May 24, 2015.
