Robert Victor Smith, 69, of Aina Haina, formerly of Palestine, Texas, a retired Walmart driver and Marine Corps veteran who served in the Vietnam War, died in Honolulu. He was born in Madison County, Miss. He is survived by wife Patricia M., son Robert P., daughter Jamie Taradash, sister Joann Pickle and four grandchildren. Graveside services: 10:30 a.m. Friday at National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific, Punchbowl.
