TOLLEFSEN, LEILANI WILMETTE Known to some as "Willy," and to others as "Lani," 77, died on June 7, 2015 in Sonoma. She was born on July 8, 1937 in Honolulu, Hawaii. She moved to California after graduating from the Kamehameha Schools in 1955. She attended San Francisco City College and went on to graduate from the Mount Zion Training School for Nurses in 1961. She worked as a registered nurse for 37 years before retiring in 1998. She enjoyed her 17 years of retirement spending time with family and friends. She was a 47 year resident of Sonoma. Wilmette is survived by her son, Olaf Tollefsen, of Hauula, Hawaii, her sister, Caroldean Fischer of Kaneohe, Hawaii and brother-in-law, Raleigh Bailey, also of Kaneohe, Hawaii. A private service will be held at the family home in Hauula, Hawaii. Wilmette's wish was to join her mother, father, and aunt in the ocean at Hauula.
