DAVID HERBERT FRANKS David Herbert Franks, 89, of Las Vegas, NV, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his children on June 10, 2015. He was born in Waialua, Hawaii and was a long-time resident of Kailua. A retired Fort Shafter federal employee and an Army veteran. Survived by sons David, Dennis and Gilbert, daughters Yvonne McKeague and Cindy Burnett, seven grand- children, three great-grand- children, sister-in-law Jerry Franks and sisters Smally Nakamura and Evelyn Miranda. He was preceded in death by his wife Geraldine and grandson Howard Dean Kamekona Jr. Private burial will be held at the Kaneohe Veterans' Cemetery.
