Vernon T. Takayama, 87, of Wahiawa, an Army veteran, died in Wahiawa. He was born in Honolulu. He is survived by wife Barbara M.; daughters Jill and Kathy; brother Eugene; sisters Sally Kojo, Laura Feinerman, Nancy Nakagaki and Diane Takayama; and a grandchild. Private services.
