74William Laborte Sr., 82, of Lahaina, a retired Kaanapali Resort Golf Course groundskeeper, died in Kula Hospital. He was born in Puunene, Maui. He is survived by sons William Jr., Clarence "Halona" and Windley; daughters Rose Rabanal and Lisa Laborte; sisters Elsie Hook and Elizabeth Edlao; 10 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
