Carl Keola "Kale" Ciriako Sr., 66, of Kealakekua, Hawaii, a registrar and teacher at Konawaena High School, a roof truss fabricator at HPM Building Supply, an Army veteran who served in the Vietnam War and a recipient of the Bronze Star, died at home. He was born in Kealakekua. He is survived by wife Faith, sons Chad Basque and Carl Ciriako Jr., daughters Carla-Mae Bailey and Marleen Mareko, brothers Raymond Ciriaco and Kenneth Ciriako, and nine grandchildren. Visitation: 8 a.m. Wednesday at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Kona Stake Center. Services: 10 a.m. Burial to follow at West Hawaii Veterans Cemetery. Casual attire. Flowers welcome.
