James Putnam Nordyke, 91, of Port Angeles, Wash., a retired financial planner and a Navy veteran, died in Port Angeles. He was born in Woodland, Calif. He is survived by daughters Janet M. Ohuchi, Carol L. Gentry and Joan A.K. Biddison; son Stephen A.; mother of his children Shirley M.; 14 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren. Interment: 11:30 a.m. Nov. 2 at National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific, Punchbowl. Aloha attire. No flowers. Donations suggested to Hawaii Symphony Orchestra. Condolences: drennanford.com.
