74Rosamellia C. "Auntie Rose" Carvalho, 78, of Hilo, a retired salesclerk for the former Smartwear, died in Hospice of Hilo's Pohai Malama Facility. She was born in Pahala, Hawaii. She is survived by daughter Clarice Kunius; hanai daughter Benita Salazar; brothers Santiago "Spike," Alfred and Leonardo "Donkey" Cordero; sister Josephine Galeon; and a grandchild. Visitation: 9 a.m. Saturday at Heritage Christian Fellowship, Hilo. Celebration of life: 10 a.m. Casual attire. No flowers.
