Aaron Clay Swafford, 78, of Hauula, a retired professional Navy barber for the 577 USS Sproston, former supervisor at Kam's Express Trucking Co., former dispatcher at Drive Line Components and a Navy veteran, died in Hauula. He was born in Litton, Tenn. He is survived by sons Mark "Shane" Soares, and Aaron B., Kyle K. and Quintin T. Swafford; daughter Sharon Chai; stepson Sefo Toki; stepdaughters Eleni Aalona, Makalita Toki, Ana Barrera and Taulagi Maka; brother Jerry Ike Swafford; sisters Mary Jane Swafford Whiteaker and Irene Swafford; 15 grandchildren; 18 step-grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and three step-great-grandchildren. Visitation: 5:30 p.m. Tuesday at Hawaiian Memorial Park Mortuary. Services: 6:30 p.m. Additional visitation: 9:30 a.m. Wednesday at the mortuary.
