William Eugene "Uncle Bill" Murphy, 75, of Koloa, Kauai, a special effects transporter for the filmmaking industry in California and a Navy veteran, died. He was born in Altadena, Calif. He is survived by sons Steve and Mike; brother Michael; sisters Judy, Abby, Peggy and Pat; and five grandchildren. Mass: 8 a.m. Saturday at St. Raphael Church, Koloa.
