Martin Joseph Gillan IV, 60, of Miami, an American Airlines captain as well as a Coast Guard veteran and a Navy pilot who served during Operation Desert Storm, died. He was born in Corpus Christi, Texas. He is survived by brother Michael J., and sisters Mary Joy and Michaela J. Gillan and Margret Gillen. Visitation: 10:30 a.m. Saturday at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in Kailua. Mass: 11 a.m. Reception to follow. Paddle-out and scattering of ashes to be held at a later date. Aloha attire.
