Jesus J. Canyete, also known as "Jose" and "Noi," 72, of Waipahu, a retired carpenter and a Hawaii Air National Guard veteran, died in Waipahu. He was born in Waipahu. He is survived by wife Joan; daughters Cheri Mina, Lena Asato, Rochelle Mateo, Cory Porter Jr. and Joanelle Cadelina; brother Augustine Canita; and 14 grandchildren. Visitation: 9:30 a.m. Friday at Mililani Mortuary-Waipio, mauka chapel. Services: 11 a.m. Casual attire. No flowers.
