Wendell “Daddy Boy” Kaahiki Lee
$nameWENDELL "DADDY BOY" KAAHIKI LEE Wendell "Daddy Boy" Kaahiki Lee, of Pearl City, a retired NCTAMS EASTPAC tele- communication operator and Air Force veteran, departed this earthly life at home with family by his side on 30 June, 2015. He is survived by his eternal wife of 49 years, Carol (Luka). He was born and raised in Hoolehua, Molokai and graduated from Molokai High and Intermediate School in 1956, as president of his senior class. He is survived by his daughters, Keala and Malia; 7 grand- children, Makana Roman, Kahema Dumlao, Walter "Eha" Shoaf, Kaahiki and Sanoe Lee, Tenley and Zooey Akutagawa; sister, Leah (Mike) Ellis; Sister- in-law, JoyAnn "Sugar" (Reynold) Fujimoto; Brother-in-laws, Carlton (Linda) and Douglas (Jan) Luka; many many nephews and nieces from near and far. He is preceded in death by brothers; William (Lagrimas) Lee, Wilford (Jane) Lee, Walter (Pearl) Lee, Benson (Toni) Lee and sisters; Moana and Betty Jean Lee. He has been an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Pearl Harbor Hawaiian Civic Club, and The Kamehameha Alumni Glee Club. His hobbies were playing and singing with a ukulele and being a volunteer with the Military Auxiliary Radio System, or MARS, as an amateur radio operator. We will be celebrating his life Thursday, 16 July, 2015 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Newton Chapel. Visitation will be from 8:30-10:00 a.m. followed by the Memorial Service at 10:00 a.m. His pa`ina will commence thereafter, with Graveside services at the HAWAII STATE VETERANS CEMETERY in Kane`ohe at 2:00 p.m..
