76Carl Shigeru "Shiggie" Harano, 69, of Puunene, Maui, retired owner of Cool Breeze air-conditioning company, died in Maui Memorial Medical Center. He was born in Puunene. He is survived by wife Hong Chu, son Byron, daughters Arli Harano and Aimee Kunimura, brothers Dr. Francis Kihara and Roy Harano, sisters Jane "Takie" Minobe and Susan "Lits" Ohashi, six grandchildren and a great-grandchild.
