VICTORIANA SOLIDUM
VICTORIANA SOLIDUM Victoriana (Vickie) Solidum of Honolulu, 81, an insurance executive and former board director with American Security Bank, Liberty Bank and First Interstate Bank of Hawaii died on July 1, 2015 after a long struggle with cancer. She was born in Kauai and is survived by her husband James, sons Arlin (Daren), Nathan (Colleen), Tobi (Tonia) and daughter Kamomi, seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her brothers Jerry Mayo and Donnie Mayo sisters Carol Santos and Patricia Pait. Mrs. Solidum was recognized as a top achiever accepting multiple local and national honors and distinctions for her sales and marketing abilities. She was also a trailblazer opening the doors for other women to serve on major bank boards in the State of Hawaii. Her mission extended into public service having served on the Board of Trustees for St. Louis School, the Augustine Educational Foundation, Aloha United Way and as vice- chairman of the Bicentennial Filipiniana. She served as a member of key committees with the Diocesan Development, Cursillo and Youth Movements for the Catholic Diocese of Hawaii and shared her gifts in various capacities at St. Stephen's Church. Above all and considered to be her greatest achievements she was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, chef extraordinaire, ikebana artist, mentor and motivator who will surely be missed. Funeral services will be held on Saturday July 18, 2015 at St. Stephen's Church located at 2747 Pali Highway in Nuuanu with visitation starting at 8:30am and requiem mass at 10:30am. Valet service will be provided in church parking lot.
