78Melvyn Kim, 74, of Aiea, a retired engineer for Hawaiian Tel who also worked for Sandwich Isles Communications, died in the Queen's Medical Center.He was born in Honolulu. He is survived by wife Ok Kyung, son Dr. WesleyJ., stepsons Kwon Ho and Jung Ho, daughter Michelle A. Nagai, brother Thomas K.N. Jr., sisters Sharon K. Abe and Lynette Ziegler, and three grandchildren. Visitation:3 p.m. Saturday at Hosoi Garden Mortuary. Services:4 p.m.
