Franklin Minoru Kubo, 75, of Honolulu, a retired personnel officer for the University of Hawaii at Manoa and an Air Force veteran, died. He was born in Hilo. He is survived by wife Jeanette "Jenny," son Dr. Brian, daughter Traci Odo, brother Abraham, sisters Emileen Kawamura and Karlen Ono, and three grandchildren. Private services.
