Franklin Minoru Kubo, 75, of Honolulu, a retired University of Hawaii Office of Community Colleges personnel officer and an Air Force veteran, died. He was born in Hilo. He is survived by wife Jeanette "Jenny," son Dr. Brian, daughter Traci Odo, brother Abraham, sisters Emileen Kawamura and Karlen Ono, and three grandchildren. Private services.
