Charles Eugene "Papa" Martin, 84, of Honolulu, a retired Army lieutenant colonel who served in the Vietnam War, died in Mililani. He was born in Washington Township, Pa. He is survived by wife Jane Y., son Robert C., daughter Barbara J. Long, brothers Palmer and Alfred, three grandchildren, two step-grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and two step-great-grandchildren. Committal services: 10:30 a.m. Friday at National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific, Punchbowl. Aloha attire.
