Sanji "Sonny" Matsumoto, 90, of Keopu, Hawaii, former proprietor of Kailua Garage, coffee farmer and an Army veteran who served in World War II, died in Kona Community Hospital. He was born in Keopu, Hawaii. He is survived by wife Kazuko; daughters Ann and Karen Matsumoto, and Lillian Felte; hanai son Francisco Leanio; brothers Takeshi and Kumio; sisters Nancy Kurihara and Lily Saito; and three grandchildren. Visitation: 10 a.m. Saturday at Daifuku Soto Mission, Honalo. Services: 11 a.m. Casual attire.
