Mele Sungu Taumoepeau Haunga
July 18, 2015 Mele Sungu Taumoepeau Haunga, 39, of Pearl City, a youth rehabilitation social worker and an Army veteran, died in Honolulu. She was born in Fresno, Calif. She is survived by husband Sesimoni; sons Siaosi "George," Kiteau "Kit Kat," Sosiua "Siua" and Sesimoni "Moni"; daughter Eva; parents Sione "Kiteau" and Mele "Teukialupe" Tonga; brothers Walter, Vilimuli and Afu Tonga; sisters Rosa Pita, Elisiva "Siva" Vanisi, Muimui "Mui" Tonga-Nau and Pipiena "Nini" Tonga; and grandparent Mele Sungu. Visitation: 10 a.m. Friday at Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Laie North Stake Center, 55-600 Naniloa Loop, Laie. Services at noon. Burial: 1:30 p.m. at Laie Cemetery. Flowers welcome.
