Ronald Simon Kats, 83, of Kailua, an interior designer and a Navy veteran, died in Kaneohe. He was born in Wilsonville, Kan. He is survived by wife Donna; son Gregg; daughters Lani Almanza, and Lisa and Lori Kats; sisters Judi Standley and Sandra Hernbloom; nine grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
