74Shirley Etsuko Matsunaka, 79, of Hilo, a retired state Department of Taxation office clerk, died in Life Care Center of Hilo. She was born in Hilo. She is survived by son Oren; daughters Wendy Fujimoto, Dale Fujiyoshi and Corey Ishimoto; brother Leslie Nishihara; sisters Jean Sindt, Sharon Yamamoto, Helene Carvalho and Cindy Takimoto; nine grandchildren; and a great-grandchild. Visitation: 9 a.m. Friday at Dodo Mortuary, Hilo. Services: 10 a.m. Graveside services and burial: 1 p.m. at Homelani Memorial Park, Lehua Section. Casual attire. No flowers.
