Andres Cubangbang Acob, 64, of Keaau, Hawaii, a papaya farmer, died in Hilo Medical Center. He was born in Cabaruan Bacarra, Ilocos Norte, Philippines. He is survived by wife Ana "Bascion"; daughters Rubyrose Ventura and Rosalie Acob; mother Felicidad; brothers Macario, Rogelio, Rosalino, Henry and Noel; sisters Virgie Ramiscal, Delia Corcino and Donna Carnate; and four grandchildren. Visitation: 6 p.m. Thursday at Dodo Mortuary Chapel. Wake service: 7 p.m. Additional visitation: 8 a.m. Friday at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Hilo. Mass: 10 a.m. Burial to follow at Homelani Memorial Park. Casual attire. Flowers welcome.
